On Saturday, February 27, an 8.8-magnitude earthquake struck Chile’s Maule region, located 71 miles north of the nation’s second largest city, Concepción.
As an organization, we want to express our sympathy to those who are suffering. We extend our compassion to those who have loved ones in Chile.
Kaiser Permanente is not being asked to provide humanitarian assistance at this time. We continue to monitor news reports and stay in touch with partner organizations who will advise us if and when assistance is needed.
