Health care leaders from around the globe look to Kaiser Permanente for insights into their own challenges. We’re happy to oblige whenever possible. In 2004, Kaiser Permanente International, an educational subsidiary of Kaiser Permanente, began offering educational sessions for a cost-offsetting fee to international visitors. Since then, about 2,000 health care leaders from 43 countries have participated in our international seminars and workshops to learn about our integrated, prepaid model of health care delivery and our efforts to transform the future of health care. Thousands more have visited us for shorter informational sessions.
In 2011, KPI expanded its educational programming from California to the East Coast to more conveniently serve our trans-Atlantic visitors at the new Kaiser Permanente Center for Total Health, an interactive learning facility in Washington, D.C.
Every opportunity to share our research and knowledge about health and health care is an opportunity to increase the power and impact of that knowledge for the greater good.
