A new report highlights the healthiest communities in the US — the top three healthiest communities are all in Kaiser Permanente’s footprint. These include Falls Church, Virginia, and Douglas and Broomfield counties, Colorado.

At Kaiser Permanente, we recognize that where a person lives, works, and plays has a big impact on his or her health. We are proud to see that the 65 million people living in communities we serve are among the healthiest in the nation. Our progress is a result of collaboration with community partners and leaders in neighborhoods, schools, health systems and workplaces to build hands-on programs, change physical environments, advance policy initiatives, and further education to create healthier individuals and communities.

Through programs and partnerships that tackle our nation’s greatest challenges, we are working to help people access healthy meals, affordable homes, safe playgrounds and supportive schools.
