Kaiser Permanente was born of Henry Kaiser’s concern for workers, and his desire to keep a workforce healthy and on the job. In the years since our founding at the end of World War II, we’ve never lost sight of the importance of healthy workers and keeping people well.

Our employees are critical to the care we provide, so we are proud of the incredible partnerships we have with nearly 30 unions that represent our employees, and the dozens of unions who trust us to care for their members.

Learn about why we are taking steps to protect our groundbreaking Labor Management Partnership.
