GREELEY, Colo. — Kaiser Permanente Colorado, the state’s largest nonprofit health plan, celebrated the grand opening of its Greeley Medical Offices with two open-house events, including one with the Greeley Chamber of Commerce on Jan. 23. Collectively, more than 200 people attended the events, including regional business leaders, chamber members and people from the surrounding community. They received personal tours of the medical office, met with Kaiser Permanente physicians, staff and leaders, and participated in commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremonies.
Kaiser Permanente’s Greeley medical office opened on Jan. 2 and is the health plan’s 28th medical office in Colorado. The 27,000-square-foot facility is located at 2429 35th Ave. and offers primary care (family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics), laboratory, pharmacy and routine radiology services — all under one roof.
Approximately 20 health care professionals are employed at the office, including two physicians, three nurse practitioners, and an array of technicians and administrative staff. The Greeley medical office is conveniently located right off Highway 34 and offers many same-day appointments for Kaiser Permanente patients, as well as extended weekday hours and Saturday pharmacy hours.
Providing care is just one way Kaiser Permanente supports northern Colorado. The organization’s community benefit program has made significant donations in recent years, including $750,000 to the North Colorado Health Alliance to support the Weld County Community Health Improvement Plan, along with financial support to the Sunrise Community Health Center, Greeley-Evans School District 6 and many other organizations.
