HESPERIA, Calif. – Kaiser Permanente today held a grand opening celebration for its new 8,000-square foot mental health care offices in the High Desert.
The new Hesperia Mental Health Medical Offices will provide a broad range of mental health services, including individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatry, addiction medicine and case management. In addition, the Hesperia Mental Health Medical Offices will feature an intensive outpatient program for addiction medicine. Ten licensed therapists are on staff, as well as two virtual medical staff doctors.
The expansion of the Kaiser Permanente’s services in the High Desert communities comes as the result of Kaiser Permanente’s focus on their members’ needs.
“We are committed to providing convenient access to mental health services for all of our members,” said Timothy Jenkins, MD, area medical director and chief of staff for the Kaiser Permanente San Bernardino County Area. “The High Desert has seen tremendous growth over the last decade. This new facility will help us better serve our members who live and work in the area.”
Coupled with the Victorville Medical Offices, Kaiser Permanente provides care to approximately 80,000 members in the High Desert. The Hesperia Mental Health Medical Offices are located 14135 Main St. in Hesperia.
