HONOLULU — Kaiser Permanente Hawaii today announced the promotion of Mark Linscott to executive director of Strategic Planning and Deployment, after serving several months in an interim role.
Linscott brings more than 20 years of health care industry experience to his new role. He will continue to lead training and support of Kaiser Permanente HealthConnect®, Kaiser Permanente’s leading-edge electronic health records system. Additionally he will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to advance information technology, service delivery and process improvement in the Hawaii region.
Linscott originally joined Kaiser Permanente in 1992 as an employee file clerk in Human Resources and has held progressively responsible positions, including operations director for KP HealthConnect and most recently, as director of Strategic Planning. Linscott is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and graduate statistics. He is a board member of the Hawaii Health Information Exchange.
