Kaiser Permanente Adds New Physicians on Oahu, Maui and Kauai

HONOLULU — Eight distinguished doctors have joined Kaiser Permanente Hawaii facilities on Oahu, Maui and Kauai. They add to Kaiser Permanente’s award-winning staff of more than 600 health care providers in Hawaii’s largest medical practice, the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, which serves more than 255,000 members in Hawaii.

Adriann Bruce, MD

Adriann Bruce, MD

Adriann Bruce, MD, practices family medicine at Kaiser Permanente Lihue Clinic. She received her medical degree from the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine, where she also completed her internal medicine residency, serving as chief resident. She previously served as a resident provider at the Physician Center at Mililani and the Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic in Lihue.

 

Thomas DeLeon, MD

Thomas DeLeon, MD

Thomas DeLeon, MD, practices hematology and oncology at Kaiser Permanente Wailuku Medical Office. He earned his medical degree at the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency through the University of Hawaii Internal Medicine Residency Program, serving as chief resident. Dr. DeLeon also completed a hematology and oncology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.

 

Justin Huggins, MD

Justin Huggins, MD, joins the department of emergency medicine at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center. He graduated with his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Huggins completed his residency in emergency medicine at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, serving as a City of Pittsburgh medical command physician and STAT MedEvac flight physician during that time. Dr. Huggins previously practiced in the emergency department at Virtua Memorial Hospital – TeamHealth East in Mount Holly, New Jersey. He is board certified in emergency medicine.

Hannah Litt, CNM

Hannah Litt, CNM

Hannah Litt, CNM, joins the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Kaiser Permanente Wailuku Medical Office as a certified nurse-midwife. She received her Master of Science in nursing ­­midwifery from the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. Litt has worked as a nurse-midwife at Women’s Health Center of Oregon in Oregon City, Oregon; Women’s Health Today in Portland, Oregon; and Kaiser Permanente Northwest Full Scope Westside Medical Center in Hillsboro, Oregon. She is a certified registered nurse and nurse practitioner and a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.

Kyle Mouery, MD

Kyle Mouery, MD

Kyle Mouery, MD, practices family medicine at Kaiser Permanente Lahaina Clinic. He earned his medical degree from Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon and completed the Providence Oregon Family Medicine Residency Program in Portland, Oregon. Prior to his appointment at Lahaina Clinic, he has served as a locum tenens family medicine physician for the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, providing acute care and primary care services at Kaiser Permanente facilities in Maui County.

Suha Patel, MD, MPH

Suha Patel, MD, MPH

Suha Patel, MD, MPH, practices obstetrics and gynecology at Kaiser Permanente Waipio Medical Office. She received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She also holds a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Patel completed her ob-gyn residency at University of California, San Francisco in San Francisco, California, where she served as chief resident. She also served as a fellow of global obstetrics and gynecology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital of Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

Jinmeng Zhang, MD

Jinmeng Zhang, MD

Jinmeng Zhang, MD, joins the department of dermatology at Kaiser Permanente Wailuku Medical Office. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Zhang completed her dermatology residency at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, serving as chief resident.

May Zhang, MD, practices dermatology at Kaiser Permanente Wailuku Medical Office. She received her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, where she also completed her dermatology residency, serving as chief resident.
