HONOLULU — Four doctors have joined Kaiser Permanente on Oahu. They add to Kaiser Permanente’s award-winning staff of more than 600 health care providers in Hawaii’s largest medical practice, the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, which serves more than 255,000 members in Hawaii.
Eric Putz, MD, is a cardiologist at Moanalua Medical Center. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Washington, and his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He served his residency at Stanford University School of Medicine, and completed fellowships in cardiology at both Stanford and the University of California, San Francisco. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in electrophysiology.
Anny Ching, MD, joins the family medicine department at Kaiser Permanente Honolulu Medical Office. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan and served as chief resident in the Long Beach Family Medicine Residency Program in Long Beach, California. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, she served as a primary care physician at MemorialCare Medical Group in Long Beach. Dr. Ching is board certified in family medicine.
Wei-Li Hsu, DO, practices psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente Behavioral Health Services – Ala Moana. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York and completed his psychiatry residency training at Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island. He also completed a psychoanalytic fellowship program at the Psychoanalytic Institute of New England, East in Needham, Massachusetts. Dr. Hsu comes to Kaiser Permanente Hawaii from Kaiser Permanente San Francisco, where he served as clinic chief. He is board certified in psychiatry.
Kim-Lien Nguyen, OD, joins the optometry department at Kaiser Permanente Honolulu Medical Office. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Nguyen practiced primary eye care at a number of organizations including Vision Insight Optometry in Milpitas, California and most recently at Hawaii Vision Associates in Pearl City, Hawaii.
