Kaiser Permanente will conduct a Flu Prevention TweetChat on Thursday, Nov. 14 to discuss the importance of getting immunized against the flu. A TweetChat is a public, moderated discussion that takes place via Twitter.

This year’s TweetChat will feature three Kaiser Permanente physicians — Randy Bergen, MD, of Kaiser Permanente Northern California; Margaret Khoury, MD, Kaiser Permanente Southern California; and Eric Harker, MD, Kaiser Permanente Colorado — as they talk about prevention and treatment this flu season. This online forum will give the public an opportunity to ask questions and get answers about flu symptoms, prevention and treatment methods.

The Flu Prevention TweetChat will take place on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at noon Pacific Standard Time (3 p.m. Eastern).

Follow the conversation on Twitter and join in by visiting TweetChat.com and entering #kphealthychat.
