Kaiser Permanente is at South by Southwest Interactive this weekend and we are going to help you keep up with the latest #sxswhealth happenings, whether you’re in Austin or tuning in from afar.
Tens of thousands of people have converged at the Austin Convention Center (http://sxsw.com/interactive/about) for five days of compelling presentations and panels, networking events, and opportunities to share startup ideas and technologies.
We will publish a digital news summary from our digital newsroom in Austin with the best and most important health-related tweets and social content from SXSW. Daily posts will be published through our @kpshare and @kpdigitalhealth Twitter handles, our Facebook page, facebook.com/kpthrive, and our Google+ page. Follow and watch @kpshare and @kpdigitalhealth on Twitter for real-time highlights.
Our session, about digital health trends, will happen Sunday afternoon, with Kaiser Permanente digital health technologies Vice President Madhu Nutakki and dermatologist Jeffrey Benabio, MD, presenting. They will lead a discussion about how technology and meaningfully curated data are enabling health and wellness. They will also discuss the latest digital trends, including biometrics, mobile, wearable devices, APIs, and the platforms that bring them all together — with examples of what’s working now and what’s around the corner in health care.
If you want to keep up with the latest health news at #sxsw14, we’re here to help!
