Kaiser Permanente today announced the decision by Jenny Ming to step down from her role as a member of the Board of Directors of Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc.
“I am honored to have been part of this dynamic organization for the past seven years,” said Ming. “However, my business is growing, and while that’s very exciting, it is requiring even more of my time. Rather than risk reaching a point where I would be unable to give Kaiser Permanente the energy and focus I believe it deserves, I have decided to step aside. Although I am leaving Kaiser Permanente in an official capacity, I remain an avid admirer and supporter of the organization’s contributions to the broader community.”
“Jenny Ming has been a dynamic, productive and service-driven member of the board of directors,” said Bernard J. Tyson, chairman and CEO. “While we fully respect her decision, she will be missed.”
